As a Bear-owned and Gay-owned establishment, Hawks PDX opened on January 1st, and has been serving Portland with a clean and friendly masculine atmosphere. Hawks has regular Massage Mondays, Buddy Night Tuesdays, Black Out Wednesdays (with free lube), Poz Night Thursdays, and TGIF (Thank Gear It’s Fetish) Nights with Demos on Fridays. Also look for live DJs at the theme parties each Saturday as of April 14th and Sunday afternoon Tea Dances with free food on Sundays beginning April 15th. Committed to the health and well-being of the Oregon community, Hawks is also working with Cascade AIDS Project and Multnomah County Health to offer Rapid HIV and STD testing beginning in May.

Ms. Hoenninger has served on the mediator panel for the ADR Program of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California since 2006 and also conducts private mediations.

Ms Hoenninger has a strong commitment to pro-bono work.  She has authored amicus briefs in support of marriage equality in the Marriage Cases and the Prop 8 cases before the California Supreme Court.
